An enduring reminder of the dedication of the many who make Fallbrook a truly livable and lovely community through our strong ties to nature.

Location: South Main at Hawthorne St. Inspiration:

Originally a painted mural by Fallbrook artist Debra Sievers (1988) in recognition of a Fallbrook Save our Forest Treescape Project celebrating the planting of over 1,000 trees in town.  Due to the importance of the message, in 2013 it was decided to make the ‘mural’ more permanent in metal by regional artist Melissa Ralston.

About the Artist:  There are many reasons why artists do what they do - for Melissa Ralston it’s simple: She makes art because it makes her happy. She feels her art is easy to enjoy and simple to understand. Melissa has worked on many public art projects throughout the region and beyond.
