Location: South Main at Alvarado Inspiration:
One of our earliest murals, this sepia toned work is an artistic composite of Fallbrook’s Main Street depicting the early 20th century. As with many of our projects, this was a collaboration – working with the Historical Society and the Fallbrook Vintage Car Club.
About the Artist: Jim Fahnestock worked in advertising and sign painting for many years before working in murals. With his wife Shirley, they opened Fallbrook’s Jim’s Sign Shop in 1989.
